John M. Sapata
John Sapata is a graduate of Rutgers Law School-Newark. While a law student, he interned both in the Federal District Court and in the New Jersey Superior Court. John began his law career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Richard F. Plechner, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Middlesex County.
John has devoted his entire professional career to civil litigation. He has experience in insurance coverage, subrogation, PIP claims and in the investigation of Insurance Fraud claims. John now devotes much of his practice to the defense of commercial and residential premises liability claims. He has successfully defended fall downs, breach of contract, negligent security, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent construction and maintenance claims. John also has extensive experience in contractual indemnification, insurance policy interpretation and Declaratory Judgment Actions.
John joined Tango, Dickinson, Lorenzo, McDermott & McGee in 2015. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in December of 2000.
